The Walking Dead Season 7 has been a wild ride. Fear the Walking Dead is a spin-off of the hit series that focuses on a group of survivors in Los Angeles who are trying to find a safe haven from the zombie apocalypse.
The Fear the Walking Dead Season 7 is a TV show on AMC that depicts a world where zombies have become more common and society has collapsed.
Fear the Walking Dead has been “reinvented” for Season 7, with co-showrunner Ian Goldberg describing it as a nuclear zombie apocalyptic western tale. Teddy Maddox (John Glover), an underground cult leader, fires a submarine-launched missile over Texas, detonating over a dozen nuclear bombs, putting Texas as the second apocalypse’s epicenter. Morgan Jones (Lennie James), Alicia Clark (Alycia Debnam-Carey), and Victor Strand (Colman Domingo) are among the survivors left alive at the conclusion of “The Beginning” to cope with the actual fallout that would turn Fear into “a totally new show.”
“The world has altered dramatically. The scene has now changed. We’ve exploded numerous nuclear weapons, which is going to alter everything “During a post-season live broadcast with TWDUniverse on Twitch, Goldberg stated. “That will alter the walkers, the living circumstances, and everything else about how our protagonists traverse this world. Just when they thought they’d figured out how to cope with the apocalypse, another one appears on top of the one they’ve been dealing with.”
Season 7, which began filming in April, would “certainly change things up in a big manner” after the dramatic conclusion of Season 6. Season 7 of Fear will continue the anthology approach with character-focused tales of the post-post-apocalypse survivors who once again find themselves dispersed, according to Goldberg, who is in his fourth season as showrunner alongside Andrew Chambliss.
“On a larger scale, we’re still presenting a western tale. Also, the anthological approach to the tales, which we began to explore in Season 6, will be carried over into Season 7 “According to Goldberg. “We’re telling two or three character tales with clear beginnings, middles, and endings. The characters are all dispersed in various places and pairings, as you witnessed at the conclusion of Season 6.”
“I’m not saying that’s who they’ll be with when we see them in Season 7, but I don’t believe it’s a spoiler to suggest that people are dispersed to the four corners and they’re going to be fighting to survive in this new world,” Goldberg added.
Morgan and Grace (Karen David) were the adoptive parents of the orphaned Baby Morgan as Season 6 ended, with Strand on the verge of becoming the “ultimate version” of himself, and Alicia as the reluctant leader of a bunkered group of survivors hand-picked by Teddy. Althea (Maggie Grace) enlisted the help of soldier Isabelle (Sydney Lemmon) to transport her pals to safety aboard a CRM helicopter, which flew the small party to unknown locations.
“I believe it will be a completely different show. With the dailies we’re receiving and the edits that are coming in, it already does “Season 7’s nuked setting, according to Goldberg. “With how much the environment has altered, it seems like a new world – everything from the clothes to the scenery to the walkers, everything.”
“Andrew and I speak about recreating the show every eight episodes, every season,” Goldberg said, “but this is by far the greatest reinvention we’ve done.” “As a result, I can’t wait to tell everyone about it.”
