England has qualified for Euro 2020, and the man who had a heart attack after watching the match is speaking out about his experience. He says he was told by doctors that watching football can be dangerous to your health because it causes a surge in adrenaline-producing hormones.
The footballer heart attack 2021 is a story that has been circulating the internet. It is about a man who had a heart attack after watching England play in Euro 2020.

Following England’s quarter-final victory against Ukraine, a man had a heart attack and praised the NHS for sparing his life.
Chris Walker, 64, believes the assault was not provoked by the football, although he had been watching Gareth Southgate’s side earlier that evening.
Now that he’s on the mend, he’s encouraging people to seek medical attention right away if they have pain or discomfort in their chest.
Chris said, “In my view, there was no connection to the football match.” ‘Thanks to the NHS, I am still alive.’
‘I’m relieved it wasn’t anything more severe. However, it was still a heart attack, and anybody experiencing chest symptoms similar to mine should seek medical attention.’
On Saturday, July 3, Chris went to bed and realized something wasn’t quite right.
‘I went to bed with a discomfort in the center of my chest,’ he said. This caused me a lot of pain, but I was able to get some sleep as a result.

‘But I had a feeling something wasn’t quite right, so I decided to get it looked out on Sunday morning.’
Chris, who is from Scunthorpe but now resides in Bradford, took a cab to Bradford Royal Infirmary (BRI) for a triage evaluation.
He was sent to Leeds General Infirmary for an ultrasound examination of his heart due to the severity of his condition.
‘They could see something wasn’t right right away. They informed me that I had had a heart attack. But it wasn’t a major heart attack. They told me there was a blockage, so I went in for an angiography,’ he said.

An angiography is a kind of X-ray that may be used to detect clogged arteries in the heart.
Chris claims the cardiologists discovered three clogged arteries and advised him to get treatment as soon as possible.
After that, he had keyhole surgery to open up his arteries and restore blood flow.
‘All of this happened while I was awake and chatting to them.’ It wasn’t anything remarkable, and it was completed in within an hour. As I speak with you today, it was clearly a success.’
Before being discharged last Wednesday, Chris was taken back to BRI for observation.
‘It must be what I’ve been consuming for the last 60 years,’ he said. I’ve had times when I ate well and periods where I didn’t. It has now caught up with me.
‘Prior to the heart attack, I had never felt particularly terrible or ill. When I explain what occurred, the term heart attack does not seem to be a major event.
‘Apart from the pain and discomfort, I didn’t feel anything else; I felt normal otherwise, and when I woke up on Monday morning, I was fine again since the stent had done its job.’
‘However, I consider myself fortunate to have been able to get up and leave the hospital when so many others do not.’
